Why We Built This Site
Utah permits access to public court records, yet the correct route depends on court type. Xchange provides the statewide public case layer. The Weber County - Ogden District Court clerk keeps District Court files, while each Justice Court clerk keeps local traffic, misdemeanor, ordinance, infraction, and small-claims matters. Juvenile files follow narrower rules. The site brings those distinctions, official contacts, and request paths into one clear reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Weber County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Utah court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes displayed on some pages. Their own terms, prices, and result practices apply. A paid signup may generate referral revenue that supports the site, but Weber County Court Docket does not control a partner's fees or records. Official facts should be checked with the originating Utah court or clerk.
